Gary, IND. –On November 17, 2024, approximately 11:43 AM, Gary Police Department received a call for service in the 3700 block of Broadway Gary, Indiana.

The call for service that was dispatched was an agency assist with the Gary Fire Department.

Dispatch advised there was an adult male down inside the residence.

Officers arrived and met members of the Gary Fire Department who advised there was an adult male inside that was deceased with a gunshot wound.

Officers immediately secured the crime scene and contacted Lake County Prosecutor’s Homicide Task Force, Lake County Sheriff’s CSI and Lake County Coroner’s Office.

The deceased male was identified as a 50 year old male from Gary, Indiana.
